26th January 2008 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F4-6 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 11 Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had a couple of manic runs on 5.8 with a decent rolling chop - went in to pull on more outhaul and it dropped off to a more reasonable level - disappointing as I thought we were in for an epic session. The wind settled down and it was a decent session - could have done with a little more power at times (or a bigger board), but generally more than enough power for gybing. Tried changing my gybing habits to get more success gybing when well powered - one step forward and two back at times, but it is worth experimenting to get out of the rut and hopefully improve. |
